Feeling spring-y !!

He was strutting about feeling very important! Fresh garden eggs for breakfast - aren't they pretty? I think I'll have the pale turquoise one today (laid by Bertha)!

I have always wanted to have Easter egg chickens. You are so lucky.

Enjoy.

how yummy looking - it reminds me of Martha Stewart who raises hens that lay light blue eggs.

He is really handsome - I used to have a cockerel like that and sadly cannot remember the breed. Eggs look delicious, too. Enjoy your breakfast.

he is a fabulous rooster - we pass by chickens and two gorgeous roosters on one of our daily walks - the pale beautiful egg colors - love them..

Does he always stand with that turquoise behind him so you can take a good photo?

I am wondering if the type of chooken relates to the color of the egg? Or is it what you feed them..

I love your cockerel and am beginning to think that the plan to raise some chicks this summer using a friend's ancient borrowed incubator should include some breeds that lay pale blue eggs. They are just so lovely.
Thank you also for your kind comment on my blog!
