So is this the answer I wonder or just TOO extreme! I must say I am feeling more in sympathy with this artist at the moment! But I don't think I could go this far........
I have read about this or seen this before--- I started looking into the Contemporary art world 10 years ago and it is a crazy anything goes 'place'. No I don't think you should do this--- way too extreme. I think slightly 'cluttered' is the best.
Oh, my. Destroying everything I have? It might take years and I'd need help. It would turn into another job ... and not a fun one. Let's hear more positive things about clutter! - Jeanne
Must be something in the air; I just spent the weekend cleaning out my computer studio. It was a bit like an archeological dig and I am at a bit of a loss this morning looking at all the empty surfaces. Lol- I think I'll have to go to my shop where I do the mixed media and sculpture for my clutter fix this a.m.
It is too extreme for me but I do appreciate a bout with decluttering ever so often. A house move is always helpful in the area of letting go. It's a fine line being surrounded by our creations and be choked by our junk?
I too sympathize with this artist...I often feel so suffocated with all my stuff...de-cluttering helps one breathe or make room for "the new", great post.
yeah - i remember this ...was living in London at the time and passed it on the bus on my way home from work.. it was in the old C&A building. The Song Dong thing is fabulous :o)
