Rambling and forthcoming adventures!

I've been so busy sorting and packing during the last few weeks - my studio is in boxes - actually most of my life seems to be in boxes as I wait the last few weeks to set off on my adventures! My stuff is going into store for several months while I am in Thailand and Australia and then I will be renting for a few months when I come back so I have been trying to sort things into long term (I really don't need this stuff to survive!!!) and the stuff I will need - basic living stuff and of course all the studio stuff!!! No need to explain this further I feel....... !!!! The word FRAGILE seems to be cropping up quite a lot I've noticed!!

Yes - I'm certainly filling the space up!!!

I was visiting some favorite blogs and was reminded of this quote by India at 'not all those that wander are lost' - It was apt timing " A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving" Lao Tzu.

I have been a bit hung up with plans lately and forgotten this wise advice!
I wonder where I'll end up then !

I am excited about your trip. Will you continue to blog? Will your focus be on art?

Good advice.
It is very unsettling to pack yiur life into boxes..

we just had some boxes of life arrive after three years.

SOme old friends hopped out, bu t many we'd rather forget.

I'm thinking you'd better sleep in my studio so you wont miss yours.

That reminds me of some unopened boxes from our last move of ten years ago.Un-needed baggage.

you life all packed up and put away except you will still be living boldly - it puts things in perspective doesn't it - sounds like wonderful journies ahead :)

Leslie - yes as much as I can and have access to a computer I will continue to blog about what I'm up to! And yes again - my travels will have an art focus in Australia - Thailand is a detox and holiday first!
Thanks Seth and Owen - you may not have to wait till I get back - see reply to Leslie above!
Grrl and dog - unsettling and hope I see my things again before 3 years - so looking forward to staying in your studio (you are right I will feel at home again!!)
Bill - yes I am sure a lot of it is unneeded but not ready to not need it yet!! Slowly I'll let go!
Jeane - thanks for positivity - I feel like I'm living riskily and much prefer living boldly! From now on I will LIVE BOLDLY!
Loved all your comments! Back to packing some more boxes now!

I cannot imagine having to pack everything into boxes and move home and hope I never have to. But your trip sounds amazing and I hope all goes well for you.

I can't wait to hear & see more about this wonderful adventure you will be on! I too love that quote. It always makes me feel a little better when I seem to be confused and unsure. Safe travels!
